I’ve spent the past couple of days in Niagara Falls visiting my friends Rob and Sherene, whom I met last summer on a train from Toronto to Ottawa. Now if it weren’t for my friendship with these two kind, inspiring and fun-loving folks, I probably would not have started my trip in such a tourist mecca.

But it felt right. And as the quote on Miss Daisy reads, my mantra for the trip is “follow your heart wherever it leads you”. And mine lead me to kick off my adventure in Niagara Falls.

As I began my day today, I asked myself why the universe may have brought me to Niagara Falls, of all places, to begin my adventure. I am not one generally drawn to such busy and commercial tourist venues. And I got my answer….
